Co-binders

TEGO^® VariPlus

With the TEGO^® VariPlus products, we offer a comprehensive range of special hard resins which are used as co-binders in paints, coatings, inks and printing inks.

In addition to increasing the solids content and accelerating drying, they also improve a large number of properties such as film hardness, adhesion to various substrates, gloss and body. TEGO^® VariPlus products are unsaponifiable and therefore protection against corrosion is also enhanced.

They can be used as grinding resins for pigment preparations of all kinds. Even at high pigment loads excellent gloss can be achieved.

Resins containing hydroxyl groups, such as TEGO^® VariPlus SK and TEGO^® VariPlus CA, are also used for the modification of other resins, e.g. polyurethanes.
